We are looking at ways to increase communication without increasing our costs. one way is to start using email mailing lists.

We have created two separate mailing lists for better communicating with the association.

  • New Official email list: Summit-POA-Official@googlegroups.com
  1. For the association to send out official announcements, etc.
  2. Once we get enough on this, we can eliminate some of the postage costs
  3. To join the Official Mailing List, go to: http://groups.google.com/group/summit-poa-official/subscribe?hl=en&note=1 and follow the instructions.
  4. Only “Managers” can send mail to this list.
  5. Recommend that we “require” everyone to be part of this list.

  • New Casual email list: for anyone in the association to send out email to the group. People can subscribe to either list or both.
  1. For anyone to send to everyone, unofficial announcements/etc.
  2. Goal would be to encourage “community”
  3. To join the Casual Mailing List, go to: http://groups.google.com/group/summit-poa-casual/subscribe?hl=en&note=1 and follow the instructions.
  4. Anyone who is a member of the list can send mail to the entire list
